Sabbath.
Set aside an hour. An afternoon. A day.
Whatever this week can do.
Be intentional.
Light a candle.
Welcome Sabbath in.
Make a Sabbath box, mark the start by putting in it anything that will distract.
A cell phone, car keys, a symbol.
Go for a walk.
Linger over a meal with friends.
Play a game.
Laugh.
Give your whole presence.
See the beauty of this world.
See the beauty of your friends and family.
Engage.
Delight.
Love.

Linking with Sunday Stillness
Love the quote! Wonderful post & series!
I’ve loved discovering new quotes these past few weeks!
I find myself trying to cram as much as I can into Sundays because it is often my only day off. I need to stop and relax and not guilt myself about it.
I can understand that. My husband is a pastor…Sundays aren’t typically Sabbath like days. So we are always figuring out ways to have Sabbath moments.
Yes, no guilt!!
