This is one of my spots. I come here early morning because it’s the closest to the stairs and I don’t want the puppy to hear my footsteps yet.
These are the spaces of peace for me. But they aren’t always serene.
I really wished I had snapped this picture about five minutes later. It was then that a Nerf arrow whizzed past my head. And a six-year-old came barging through.
“Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.” (unknown)
Calm in your heart. Calm that carries us through the tumultuous. Calm that quiets the bombardment of messages.
Praying that today we may have reminders of peace no matter our circumstances.
peace in the middle of chaos
that is what only God through His Holy Spirit can bring
and what joy there
what only God through His Holy Spirit can bring…and what joy there.
Yes and amen!
