“Melanie, do you see this bee?”
My mother in law and I are on a photo shoot while they are in town. Like me, she loves exploring…especially in her homeland of Western PA.
I hadn’t seen the bee. She tells me she notices the details more after spending time with me and the way that I see
That makes me smile for many reasons. One being she is a big picture person. I’ve always wanted to be a big picture person.
But slowly. Slowly. I am accepting and enjoying how I am made.
And it makes me think of how much we need each other to see.
To truly see.
To see different perspectives and passions.
To see the twigs and the vast forest.
To help each other see the beauty in our own souls we so often miss.
Go. Tell someone today the beauty you see in them.
I’m participating with The Nester in 31 Days of Noticing the Moment. This is Day 21.
You can find all 31 Dayers here. There are so many wonderful topics.
If you miss any days in the series, you can find introductory and each days post here.
I love the beauty I see in you, Melanie! Can’t wait to spend some time with you soon, soaking in your perspective of things which I’ve been missing!
