“As they pass through the Valley of Baka,
they make it a place of springs;
the autumn rains also cover it with pools.“
Psalm 84:6
A couple of weeks ago I reflected on Psalm 84:5 and the Pilgrimage of our Hearts. The word pilgrimage stayed with me, stuck to me.
This morning I moved on to the next verse and find myself thinking of all the Valley of Baka’s that I have passed through.
The Valley of the Weeper.
Have my tears made my valleys a place of springs?
Has my journey through trials brought new life?
May others find refreshment in the places I have watered.

Yes. We have all been through that valley. And more than once. But joy does come in the morning. And that we hang on to!
Melanie,
I love the way you wind your words. So glad to be with you on Still Saturday.
Peace and Sabbath blessings to you in Jesus’ name,
Amen

Hi Melanie! Such important questions to ask oneself and prayerfully our answers result in the refreshment of others. “May others find refreshment in the places I have watered.” – so beautifully written.
