We’ve been on vacation this week.
Away from snow. Away from heavy jackets.
Embracing sunshine and the ocean’s invitation.
New life awakening after the dormancy of winter. Seasons of our souls, longing to be shaken from slumber.
These trees stretching out to the heavens. Beaten over and over by the South Carolina waves. Yet still rejoicing. Always rejoicing.
May we each be stirred this weekend to the aliveness and rejoicing of God’s presence and activity surrounding us.

Dear Melanie
Our hearts can so easily get stuck, dormant in the cold of winter. Let us look at our Lord and always rejoice for all the new life He is creating in us when all seems dead and at a lost!
Much love to you
Mia
That picture is beautiful and fits the verse! I’m praying for Spring in my heart, too.
Rejoicing constantly, instantly … whether we look perfect or not perfect … rejoicing is what counts both here and forever.
Glad you had a nice break. Certainly is a blessing.
